Artist Statement
My work explores myth, identity, and transformation through figurative symbolism. Drawing on elemental imagery—fire, earth, light, and the human form—I use the body as a vessel for psychological and cosmic reflection. Figures often exist between worlds: grounded yet celestial, vulnerable yet powerful, caught in moments of emergence or quiet introspection.
Color and contrast guide each composition. Muted palettes create space for contemplation, while focused bursts of color serve as emotional and symbolic anchors. Influenced by mythology, spiritual iconography, and contemporary reflection, my paintings are less about fixed narratives and more about states of being—inviting viewers to consider transformation as an internal, often unseen process.
